YesWeCan2027 is a youth-and-women-led national grassroots  political re-awakening and democratic regime change movement created to help unite, mobilize and organize youths and women into a political force of forty million voters, who will dedicate their ballots to enforcing a democratic regime change in 2027, designed to terminate and change Nigeria’s status quo of elite political dominance and the political exclusion of youths, women and other competent ordinary Nigerians from holding elective seats, focusing specially on the federal and state parliamentary seats, and also the governorship seats.

YesWeCan2027 aims to institute a new political order that truly enforces a functional democratic regime which gives the ordinary Nigerians the opportunity to participate in governance by ensuring that political seats are earned, won or retained but only by merit through credible elections, and not by vote-rigging.

YesWeCan2027 will serve to provide a national grassroots networking platform for the political sensitization, re-awakening and mass mobilization of youths and women for active electoral participation ahead of the 2027 general polls, which strategically include participation in voting, vying for political seats (running for office) and ballot security (influencing a credible electoral process by monitoring and protecting the votes or ballots).

With their large voting numbers, youths and women have the power to decide who will be elected into political offices in the upcoming 2027 general elections, which also include voting to elect themselves, and the determination to transform this possibility into a reality, is the reason for “YesWeCan2027”.
